Dr. Amir Ghasemi is an internationally recognized dental scholar and clinician specializing in restorative and adhesive dentistry. With a career spanning over three decades, he has established himself as a leading authority in the field, contributing significantly to both academic research and clinical innovation.
Dr. Ghasemi completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1989 and earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Restorative Dentistry in 1994. His commitment to international academic excellence led him to complete a prestigious fellowship in Adhesive Dentistry at Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU), Japan, where he expanded his expertise in biomaterials and minimally invasive techniques under the mentorship of global leaders in the field.
A prolific researcher, Dr. Ghasemi has authored 87 peer-reviewed publications in international journals, focusing on contemporary adhesive systems, resin composites, fluoride-releasing materials, and novel restorative technologies. His research has advanced the understanding and clinical application of biomimetic and patient-centered restorative solutions.
Dr. Ghasemi is actively engaged in the global dental research community. He has served as a reviewer for numerous international journals, participated in cross-border research collaborations, and presented his work at leading scientific congresses across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. He is also involved in translational research, having contributed to the development and clinical evaluation of innovative restorative materials in partnership with industry leaders.
Beyond his research, Dr. Ghasemi is an esteemed educator with extensive experience in curriculum development, postgraduate mentorship, and professional training.
