Dr. Lika Mebagishvili is an oral surgeon and prosthodontist with over 14 years of clinical experience and triple specialty licensure in therapeutic dentistry, oral surgery, and prosthodontics. She is the founder and chief physician of Skhva Clinic in Tbilisi, Georgia, and a lecturer in oral surgery at the University of Georgia, where she teaches in English to an international student body while completing a PhD in public health focused on the occupational health and professional rights of dental practitioners.
She performed the first subperiosteal implant procedures in Georgia and developed the country’s first structured dental-assistant training and internship programme. Her clinical work centres on implant surgery, full-mouth rehabilitation, and aesthetic prosthodontics, alongside an active commitment to clinical education and the advancement of the dental profession.
She teaches and consults fluently in English, Georgian, and Russian, and is committed to building international academic collaboration in surgical and restorative dentistry.
