Dr. Taimaz Sheikhli, from Baku, Azerbaijan, is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon who graduated from Azerbaijan Medical University, where he completed his dental education and specialty training in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He also completed a one-year surgical experience course at Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, further strengthening his clinical and surgical expertise.

Dr. Sheikhli is the founder and director of DR TAIMAZ CLINIC MMC, a clinic and education center in Azerbaijan dedicated to advanced maxillofacial surgery, patient care, and professional training. He is a member of the Azerbaijan Society of Dentists and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

His clinical expertise includes advanced oral and maxillofacial surgery, dentoalveolar surgery, management of maxillofacial infections, facial trauma, pathology, and reconstructive procedures. He has a strong professional interest in modern surgical innovations, particularly the use of advanced imaging, automated radiographic analysis for early detection of pathology, and the integration of intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) to enhance surgical safety and outcomes.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Sheikhli is actively engaged in academic education and professional training, participating in advanced courses, workshops, and interdisciplinary collaborations. His approach to surgical practice is rooted in evidence-based medicine, precision surgery, and continuous professional development. Dr. Sheikhli is committed to advancing the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery through innovation, education, and international academic cooperation, with a particular interest in applying emerging technologies to improve patient outcomes and surgical standards.
